House of Bricks Reflection
My favourite Lego activity was the car race because me and my buddy learnt something like if there's more weight at the back your car goes faster and we came second.
My least favourite Lego activity was the building one because we didn’t have a plan.
The activity that tested my perseverance the most was mosaic because I didn't know it was going to be confusing.
The most challenging activity was the one when we had to swap builds because what was quite difficult.
I enjoyed working collaboratively with others because we we actually helped kids packing up the Lego at the end.

Umbrella
Hi my name is Angus and I you two look at some of my writing what's called umbrella
One stormy evening, the door to Miss Elem’s Home For Children opened wide. The girl with the bright sunlight yellow umbrella, cautiously entered the orphanage before finding a home for her umbrella. Not wanting to be seen, Boris quickly whipped his head around the door frame. Standing off to the side, the girl observed the joyful scene as the children searched the box for hidden treasures. The girl smiled as she saw the boy happily zooming around the room with the spaceship as fast as lightning. Her smile slowly melted as she looked back at the umbrella holder and saw just drops of puddles. Her beloved umbrella vanished into thin air.

Town Trip
Introduction: 0n Thursday the 20th of May, my class, the Tumu Hub went for a trip. We went to the Margaret Mahy playground, Victoria Square, paddling on the Avon River and fed the eels. The first thing I did was the Eel feeding, we fed them cat food, it made me feel a bit sick. I also found out that the Maori name for an Eel is Tuna. Next I went on the Waka. The Waka is a type of boat that the Maori used to fish for Tuna, in the Avon River. Being in the Waka made me very excited, it made me feel like I was back in time.
After this, we went to Victoria Square, we got to learn some history about the area and did a sketch of Victoria Square. Victoria Square has a statue of Queen Victoria facing towards the United Kingdom. because I use different colours and they came out wellThe last thing that we got to do was go back to the Margaret Mahy playground. At the playground we had to do a treasure hunt, finding lots of Maori objects, such as mats, and special New Zealand animals and plants etched into the concrete.
My favourite part of the trip was going to Victoria Square, learning about the history of the area, and how it was originally occupied by the Maori.
Something I learnt was that Captain James Cook founded New Zealand.
The thing I found the most interesting was the mats dotted along the Avon River represent the Maori culture. The mats are made up of a number of Maori designs of all different colours.
This trip has helped me with my PBL idea. I would make some metal eels and have them attached to the fence at the front and back of school.
